Who we are

World T.E.A.M. brings adaptive and able-bodied athletes together by empowering, enabling and engaging individuals through inclusive athletic events.

Our events include our annual Face of America bicycle and hand cycle ride to Gettysburg; our annual Adventure Team Challenges in Colorado, Washington D.C. and New York; our Face of America Liberty ride from West Point to Manhattan; and our Coastal Team Challenge on Long Island, New York. Our past events include the AXA World Ride, the Vietnam Challenge, the Kilimanjaro Confidence Climb, our Soldiers to the Summit Military Initiative events; our CanAm Veterans' Challenge and numerous clinics and training events for disabled and able-bodied persons.

Since 1993, World T.E.A.M. has organized challenging outdoor athletic events for adaptive and able-bodied citizens – mountain climbing, white water rafting, biking, and more. Support comes from individual and corporate donations and fundraising, sponsorships and grants.

World T.E.A.M. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization chartered in North Carolina and headquartered in Holbrook, New York.
